Scared Stifftm Skull Eyes Kit Color Version

NEW LOWER PRICE!!

Kit Includes:

1 custom wired COLORED - LED light set.

Note: These clear bulbs light up in 6 colors, coordinating with the six tales of terror.  They are pre-spaced for easy installation into your skull pile. Colors include: Red, Yellow, Amber, White, Blue and Green.

$79.95

If you own the pinball game Scared Stiff tm and don't have this kit installed, you don't know what you've been missing! This kit adds what Bally tm left out of the prototype machines at the last minute to save production costs.  This kit installs in about 20 minutes or less and will truly make a  significant difference in your pinball machines overall appearance. There are no modifications necessary to install this kit, just remove your Skull Pile (see pictures below) and insert this custom wired kit into the skull's eye sockets. Then just plug into the machines pre-existing Molex plugs that were there all along from the factory. While the game is not being played and in the attract mode, the LED eyes will light up alternating  the same way the "Tales of Terror" symbols, light up in the middle of the playfield. While the game is being played, each set of lights in the skulls will light as you defeat each of the six tales...a very cool addition!!

Installing the Scared Stifftm Skull Eyes Kit

Tools Needed:

Phillips Screw Driver

Important Notice:

By installing this kit you will assume sole responsibility for any and all liability of incidental or consequential damage to your machine, yourself and others.

Some areas of your playfield contain very high voltage, be sure and install this kit with the power turned off.

Installation:

Lift up your playfield and pull it towards you until it locks, it is not necessary to stand the playfield upright to install this kit. With a small Phillips screwdriver remove the two screws that hold the Skull Pile in place. NOTE: there are two small spacers behind these screws, don't lose them as they will be reinstalled later.

Remove the Skull Pile and turn it over. Notice how each of the eye locations are marked 1 thru 6 in the diagram below (see figure #2). Your LED Eye Kit is also tagged 1 thru 6 (see figure #1). Carefully insert each set of eyes into the back of the Skull Pile, number 1 thru 6 in that order. You may want to add a small amount of modelers glue to the LED's to hold them in place but it shouldn't be necessary.

If you notice below where the Skull Pile is mounted on the playfield there is a notch in the plastic and a hole thru the bottom of the playfield (see figure #3). Insert each of the two Molex plugs of the Led Eyes kit down thru this hole and re-attach the Skull Pile (remembering the plastic spacers)  back in to the machine.

Notice on the female Molex plugs on your kit (see figure 1) one is marked "Y" and the other is marked "R". These plugs will plug right into the wiring harness at the back of the playfield. There will already be two lamp matrix plugs there. Note the "R" plug connects to a set of red wires, and the "Y" plug connects to a set of yellow wires. Also beneath the playfield there is a white plastic wire guide that the existing wiring harness passes through. Put your skull wires in the wire guide to relieve strain on the LED's.

That's it! Close your machine back up and turn it on to enjoy your new feature!

Note: These pictures are of the original prototypes. The light kit you will receive is like what's pictured at the top of the page.
